As I Age

As I age, I've learned that issues you are actually involved with need to be addressed - decide whether it's worth the stress or not.

As I age, I noticed that presents are worth the "wow" if you get to unmask the sincerity behind it.

As I age, I've realized that not all people actually open their minds. Some limit theirs to what they want to believe.

As I age, I've known that not all people who say they are there for you are actually there. Some are there not to push you to be better but to push you to the ground.

As I age, I've felt that some people wear masks. Some to hide the wrath they're going through, some to mask the ill intentions they have for you.

I have reached a point in my life where I have given life and others a full swing, the entirety of my energy because unfortunately, back then, I felt that the people we bleed for may not bleed the same but at least see what you've all been through...

Well, the world is a stage. There will always be an award for the best performer.

You know what the good thing is? You get to choose your character - the one to master until your own show ends. Make sure your role matters not to anyone but to yourself.

As I age, this time, I'll choose me.
