I SAID YES BECAUSE WHY NOT?

 I SAID YES.

You got it. I did say YES.

But why am I wearing the ring on the wrong finger? Oh those eyes rolling, eyebrows rising...

Calm down...

It’s actually simply because…

I said YES to myself.

I said YES to embracing all of life’s finest.

I said YES to getting myself back on track.

I said YES to finding a familiar path, the path of positivity.

I said YES to being ready for challenges that may come.

I said YES to accepting that I can’t get everything that I want.

I said YES to being thankful that I am blessed beyond compare.

I said YES to having the capacity to work hard for all that I need.

I said YES to understanding that not all people will understand what we actually mean.

I said YES to rejections, they are a blessing.

I said YES to shrugging off the negatives.

I finally said YES to knowing for sure that we can’t please everyone, no matter the efforts, no matter how selfless, how sincere.

I said YES to the never ending possibilities, the opportunities that lay ahead.

I said YES to taking every challenge.

I said YES to continue loving those that I choose to love.

I said YES to me.

And there’s nothing wrong with saying YES to you, too. When you say YES to yourself, you learn to say NO to things that disturbs your inner peace.

You can fully say YES to others when you’ve actually said YES to yourself. But don’t be too hard on you, dearie.

Up to this day, I continue to tell myself that I have to always remind myself all these.

That I have said yes. I can say YES. I should always say YES to myself even when it's almost impossible to.

I should say yes, because why can't I?
